I don't have an SSN or ITIN. Can I still do this?

Yes. This is the normal case for us. Non-US residents can own a US LLC and obtain an EIN without an SSN or ITIN. We file the IRS application on your behalf. You do not need to travel to the US at any point.

Do you actually open the bank account, or just tell me how?

We complete and submit the application for you using your company documents and passport. You'll need to do the identity verification step yourself — banks require the account holder to do that personally, and no provider can legally do it for you. Everything up to and around that, we handle.

Which bank will I get?

We match you to the provider most likely to approve your specific profile: Mercury, Relay, Wise Business, Airwallex or Payoneer. That choice depends on your country of residence, what you sell and your volume. We'll tell you which one and why before we apply.

What if Stripe rejects me?

We diagnose the reason, fix it — usually store policies, business description, product listings or entity details — and re-apply. That's included in your price, not billed as extra. What we can't do is guarantee approval: Stripe makes the final call. Anyone promising you a guaranteed Stripe account is not being honest with you.

Is $299 / $379 / $479 really the total?

That's your total to us, and state filing fees are already inside it. Two things sit outside: (1) a US phone number and virtual address if you want them — third-party services we'll guide you to buy, typically $10–20/month; (2) state annual renewal from year two onward. We'll quote you the exact renewal figure for your state before you pay anything.

I can file this myself on the state website for $99. Why would I pay you?

For the filing alone, you're right — and if your situation is simple and you're willing to research it properly, do that. What you're paying us for is everything the state portal doesn't handle: a correctly filed SS-4 so your EIN isn't mis-issued, a business description that matches your store, a real registered agent, an operating agreement your bank will ask for, and applications to the bank and payment gateways prepared by people who submit them every week. The reason it matters is that bank and Stripe applications aren't like a state filing — you don't get unlimited attempts. A rejected applicant record is difficult to undo, and that's usually what a DIY mistake actually costs.

I already filed my own LLC and got rejected. Can you fix it?

Usually yes, and it's a large part of what we do. First we work out what went wrong — mis-filed EIN, wrong registered agent, mismatched business activity, a store that isn't compliant, or the entity itself being in the wrong state. Some of it is repairable on the existing entity. Sometimes the cleaner route is a fresh entity, and we'll tell you honestly which one you're looking at rather than sell you the more expensive option by default. How is this different from Doola or Firstbase?

They're formation companies. They file your LLC well, then hand you documents and instructions for banking and payments. We treat the LLC as step one of four. The bank application, the store compliance work and the Stripe and Shopify Payments applications are done by our team — that's the whole reason we exist.

What do you need from me to start?

Your passport, your desired company name, two or three state preferences and your non-US address. Roughly five minutes of your time. If you already have a store, send us the URL so we can run the compliance review in parallel.

Will I owe US tax?

Most non-resident single-member LLCs with no US-based operations, employees or dependent agents owe no US federal income tax — but they still have annual filing obligations (Form 5472 + 1120), and penalties for missing them are steep. We handle those filings for you. We're a formation and compliance service, not a tax advisory firm, so for your specific situation you should confirm with a qualified tax professional.
